Welcome to the Launceston School for Seniors Membership System


You can view the courses available for this year before joining or re-enrolling via the view Courses menu item. There are many courses to choose from to suit most interests and hobbies.

Existing Members
To re-enrol or access Member details/Course details use the 'Login' menu item; you need a Membership number and Password or Email address and Password. If you have forgotten your Password you can recover it during the 'Login Member' process.

Joining Members
To register your details for Membership use the 'Enrol as New Member' menu item.

On Friday 12 February, between 9.30am and 2.30pm, we will conduct a one off ‘phone in day’ for members who have no computer or limited computer skills. We trust that members who are capable of registering online will wait for that option to be available, as many members do not have computers and must be given a fair chance to register. Four ‘phone in’ members will be registered in each class along with the class tutor. After this limit is reached, a wait list will be established. 

We recognise that some members who have computers may need assistance from family or friends so online registration will take place on Saturday 13 February. The registration system will be opened at 11.00am for online registrations and when the class limit is reached, members will be put on a waitlist. Online registrations can be paid at the same time via PayPal or credit card.               

Any registration that has not been paid prior must be paid at the office on Monday 1 March or Tuesday 2 March. Members cannot participate in classes until they are financial. Anyone not financial by Wednesday 3 March will be replaced in the class by the next wait-listed member.We will send a reminder to current members prior to registration day. Online Log-in Procedure

(You will not be able to select courses until 11.00am on Saturday 13 February, but if you complete the procedure to step 3 now, you can skip steps 1 to 3 on that day).                                                                                                                                                           

In your browser, enter www.lss.org.au

Click on Launceston School for Seniors.                                                                                                                                                   

Click on Membership.                                                                                                                                                                           

Click on Members Log in.                                                                                                                                                                     

Click on Log in. (bottom left)                                                                                                                                                               

Enter membership number:                                                                                                                                                                       

This number can be obtained from your tutor or the LSS office.                                                                                                           

Try your email address if number is not available.                                                                                                                             

Enter Password:                                                                                                                                                                                         

If you have not created your own password, use the last 5 digits of your phone number as supplied to the school.                         

Click Log in.                                                                                                                                                                                           

 In left hand column, find and click on ‘View member details’.

  1. Read details carefully. If changes are necessary, click on ‘Edit member details’ in left column.
  2. Enter changes and click on ‘save’ button at bottom of form.
  3. Click on ‘View or select courses’ in left column. Select courses in tick boxes and when complete, click on ‘confirm selections’ button at bottom of list.
  4. Click on ‘View or select courses’ in left column. Select courses in tick boxes and when complete, click on ‘confirm selections’ button at bottom of list.
  5. The screen now shows your selected courses. If all is correct, click on the ‘Finalise Courses – Invoice and Payment’ button.
  6. The screen now shows your member details with enrolment and course details at the bottom.

Next to your enrolment detail is the amount your Subs are for your enrolment.                                                                                   

Click the ‘Invoice’ button. Your invoice will appear on screen. At the bottom of the Invoice there is the option to pay by PayPal or Credit Card. Follow the instructions on the screen.                                                                                                                                   

If not paying online, print your invoice and bring it with you when paying at the office. Remember that payment must be made by Tuesday 2 March.
